
Several media outlets are reporting that Dallas-based AT&T (NYSE: T) plans to restrict iPhone sales under a two-year contract at third-party retailers, leaving the AT&T Next installment plan as the sole payment option. In its own stores and online, AT&T is expected to continue offering contract plans.
