Coca-Cola debuts first plastic bottle made entirely from plant matter

The Coca-Cola Co. has rolled out at the World Expo-Milan the planet’s first PET plastic bottle made entirely from plant material. The Atlanta-based beverage giant said the new recyclable plastic bottle is made from renewable plant materials. The plant bottle technology converts natural sugars found in plants into the ingredients to make PET plastic bottles.
