
JPMorgan Chase & Co. is eliminating 5,000 jobs as it looks to trim costs and become more efficient as consumers shift to mobile banking, sources told the Wall Street Journal. It’s unclear how many cuts may come in the Dayton region, where New York-based JPMorgan has the second largest bank operation.
