UAB is bringing back football program

Football is officially coming back to the University of Alabama at Birmingham. UAB President Ray Watts announced plans to revive the football program at a press conference this afternoon. Watts cited strong community support from the university, alumni, various business entities and the city of Birmingham as the main reason behind reinstating the program.
