Wal-Mart Stores Inc. (NYSE:WMT) is pulling Confederate flag merchandise from its store shelves and website following the massacre of nine people at a historic black church in Charleston, S.C. CNN first reported the news Monday evening. Reached via email, a spokesman for Wal-Mart sent the following statement to the Charlotte Business Journal: “We never want to offend anyone with the products that we offer.
