Cards’ new TV deal boosts team value to $1.6 billion

The St. Louis Cardinals’ new TV deal with Fox Sports Midwest (FSMW) should boost the team’s value by $200 million to $1.6 billion, which still ranks sixth among all Major League Baseball franchises. That’s according to Forbes, which reported that as part of the deal, the Cardinals will acquire a 30 percent stake in the TV station.
