Kroger recalls spices in possible salmonella threat

Kroger Co. is recalling four of the spices sold in its stores due to possible salmonella contamination. The Cincinnati-based retailer (NYSE: KR) is recalling its ground cinnamon, garlic powder, coarse ground black pepper and Bac’n Buds after a sample of its garlic powder from a store in South Carolina tested by the FDA was contaminated with salmonella.
