Marc Gasol agrees to 5-year max contract with Grizzlies

All-Star center Marc Gasol and the Memphis Grizzlies agreed to a five-year max contract worth an estimated $110 million. According to ESPN, the exact value of the contract will be determined by the NBA salary cap. Gasol also secured a player option, which would allow him to opt out of the contract and become a free agent after the fourth year. Gasol will be 34 at that time.
