MPD precinct makes way for Central Station redevelopment

A Memphis police precinct is moving from the south end of Main Street to the north end to make way for a movie theater, hotel and apartments. July 21, O.T. Marshall Architects filed a permit with the Shelby County Department of Construction Code Enforcement to convert space in Memphis Area Transit Authority’s William Hudson Transit Center, formerly the North End Terminal, into a precinct for the Memphis Police Department.
