Power still out for many after Tuesday storms

Memphis Light Gas and Water is still working to restore power to several areas of town after storms blew through town Tuesday. According to MLGW's outage map, there are about 6,800 customers without power spread across the city, though at one point as many as 28,000 were without power. Storms swept through the city Tuesday afternoon, knocking trees down, disabling traffic signals and causing traffic to back up.
