Whole Foods announces opening date for Germantown store

The new 41,000 square-foot Whole Foods location in Germantown is just weeks from opening. The organic grocer's new location at 7825 Poplar will open on Aug. 18 and hold a preview event on Aug. 14 and 15. The new Germantown location will the Whole Foods second Memphis-area location and the sixth in the state. It isn't without competition, however. Sprouts Farmers Market recently opened its Germantown location as well.
