U.S. Department of Labor unveils new system to pay back unpaid wages

The U.S. Department of Labor this week unveiled a new system aimed at paying out money to those owed wages by former employers. The agency currently has money collected when investigations found that certain employers were not properly paying employees. Some workers could be owed funds collected on their behalf by the Department of Labor, but who may have left jobs before being able to collect payment.
