Kroger begins testing online ordering

Kroger Co. is now offering the option to order groceries online in Greater Cincinnati. The locally based grocery giant (NYSE: KR) announced that customers can order items and pick them up at one of its stores. For the first three orders from any local customer, Kroger will waive the $4.95 service charge. Customers can shop for their groceries online and then pick them up at the store without leaving their car. Kroger had been offering the service to its employees and select customers at the store…
