Aetna buying Humana, creating second-largest health plan in nation (Video)

Aetna Inc. (NYSE: AET) plans to acquire Humana Inc. (NYSE: HUM) for $37 billion, a deal that is expected to take about a year to complete. At that time the combined operation of more than 33 million health plan members and $115 billion in annual revenue will be the second-largest managed care plan in the nation after only UnitedHealth Group.
