Apple denies plan to launch its own mobile service, Reuters says

Apple Inc. has denied working on a plan to sell mobile services to go along with the iPhone, Reuters reported Tuesday, refuting an earlier report. Reuters quoted the Cupertino, Calif.-based company saying it's not in talks to launch a mobile virtual network operator (MVNO) service in the United States and in Europe, refuting an earlier report by Business Insider.
